It has been published a first modification of the standard UNE 21186:1996
This is the 1st amendment in November 2009, which complements this legislation UNE 21186.
This modification involves an initial alignment with the relevant legislation UNE-EN 62.305
This rule is the relevant legislation in LPS (lightning protection Systems) in structures, buildings and open areas through priming arresters, in countries like Spain and Latin America.
Note the inclusion of:
- New Levels of Protection, for which INGESCO working on new products that meet these new needs.
- New specifications in the system drivers down.
- New maintenance procedures and inspection of the SPCR (System lightning protection) and their periodicities, so INGESCO is working to adapt their procedures to the new regulatory change.
