External Protection Each country has its own regulations on ESE lightning rods, the most applicable standards being the French NFC 17102: 2011, the Spanish UNE 21186: 2011 and the Portuguese NP4426: 2013. In the same way, there are regulations, standards or specific laws of each country, which coexist with international standards and can be completed or specified as is the case in Spain of the CTE SUA 08 (Mandatory regulations).
