Lightning rod tips with 1m and 2m high flat base support. Approved for substations.

External protection of LPS (lightning protection systems).

Installation is indicated for external protection of all types of structures, either as single collection system, or as a component of conductive mesh and Faraday cage systems. Dimensions approved for use in electrical substations.

During the formation of the storm, an electro-atmospheric field is generated between cloud and ground. Around the Franklin tip, a natural ionization (corona) occurs, resulting from the energy transfer. This phenomenon is the beginning of excitation to draw a conducting channel which will facilitate the lightning discharge.
