Insert the piercing tip into the end of the sunken terminal with the help of a hammer. Nail the grounding rod into the ground by using appropriate tools.
After installing the first rod, connect the bottom of the second rod with the top of the installed grounding rod. This operation is repeated with consecutive rods that are wanted to be joined.
Once you have installed all the grounding rods, and have obtained an electrode of the desired length, place a connecting sleeve on the visible tip of the electrode, to allow the connection of the cable.
